About Us
Ethan Sheaffer
Founder / President
My name is Ethan Everett Sheaffer, and I am the Founder and President of IGNIS. I am from Emerald Isle, North Carolina, and now I live in Arizona. We had the inspiration to create this project after we experienced a number of personal struggles which heavily impacted our own mental health, and we wanted to reach out to others who may be navigating difficulties. With the creation of IGNIS, we hope to provide some light to those living in darkness.
Jean Martin-Rojas
Contributor
My name is Jean Andre Martin-Rojas, and I am a contributor to IGNIS. I come from La Paz, Bolivia. This is a place where you have to fight for your opportunities, because the country itself is very poor. The youth in my country have a very hard time coping and expressing due to a lack of mental health resources, and I really believe that if there were such a project as this in my country, life would be easier. A place where you can be heard and hear from others that are changing the stigma that surrounds mental health. This is the meaning of IGNIS.
